Cutting down Texan .357 barrel?

Has anyone here cut down a Texan .357 barrel to 26-28 inches, I know I’ll lose about 10fps per inch but I’m wondering if it throws off accuracy or not, I’ve been shooting 127gr bullets with good accuracy out of the stock 34 inch barrel and just want to shorten it down a bit without putting in a 24 inch barrel and I have no plans on shooting air bolts so that’s not a concern for me, I understand how to recrown the barrel so that’s not a issue either so any input would be welcome. Thanks.
