Customized Beeman R7 in .22

Finally got around to tuning and installing a 10.5” .22 HW30s barrel into my Beeman R7. After only around a 200 pellets down the barrel, this is what it’s doing at 14 yards with RWS meisterkugelns (not sighted in yet as I’m still testing pellets). This barrel was cut/crowned/choked for me by a GTA member.

The rifle was self tuned by me using a Maccari deluxe tune kit, the best kits out there imo. When I stripped this rifle, it was super packed with grease from the factory, put it away initially after firing 2 shots when new in fear of damaging the piston seal as it was dieseling way too much.

Barrel pivot was also way too tight from the factory, had to adjust it. The firing cycle is now super sweet and the report is very quiet. Overall length came out to 36.5”. End of barrel was finished with a muzzle break. Hope to chrony it soon.

Like it and nice look. I’ve read that pellet accuracy in barrels under 12” increases with sub 12lb springers a great deal because the pull of the trigger and recoil has less impact on the pellet (since it is in the barrel less time). I think that depends more so if it is in .22 and therefore moving at slower speeds.
