The Harris HB2A sling stud easily fits in empty spaces of the forearm of a Prod or 1720T or even a 2400KT without any modification. You can use a Harris bipod or a clone that attaches straight to the stud or get a Picatinny rail adaptor that attaches to the stud. I have this stud on all three of my rifles mentioned above. I have a couple of Caldwell bipod that hook to the stud.

Re-thread the hole in the barrel band to 10-32. Can then just screw in a sling swivel stud for the bipod. will have to cut the stud thread to the proper length. We have done three of the guns that way and they work just fine for attaching a bipod. That should not affect your warranty.
