Custom WAR Flex .30

I just got my WAR Flex .30 back from Brian at Veradium Air. This gun was well worth the wait. He shaved off the handle, centered and tensioned the barrel, and made a ton of custom machined parts to keep the weight down and slim up the profile. The gun is running non regulated starting the shot string at 3200 psi. Ending right around 2200. I did just get it back so I’m still in the testing phase. My pressure numbers may be a bit off. He got it tuned to shoot the 44gr JSB right around 950-980 over a 21 shot string. I need to confirm the exact shot string. I was too excited with its performance to write down the numbers. Stay tuned! Able to keep it under a nickel at 50 consistently.

Hey that's my old gun! Glad to see it pop back up. I missed it so much I got another and cut off the handle again. The way it fits the hand without the handle makes it seem like a whole different gun. Super accurate gun too.

I’m pretty sure this isn’t your old gun. My gun had the handle on it. I had it removed by Brian at Veradium air.

My mistake, he got mine with the handle cut off awhile back and I assumed. lol and you know what they say about making assumptions. Either way, you got a nice one.

Hey Thanks for sharing!! That is a gem!! I’m in love w my WARs and RAWs. I’m about to place an ad to try a Hail Mary trade for my WAR Flex .30 for a 357 version p preffered. I’m sure most here have seen Will Roman YouTube video on his magnificent 357 dual bottle nightmare. Anywho congratulations again and….today this arrived via trade!!! I need to reach out and get my magazines fixed or find sturdier designed mags…anyone know if the Mrod mags fitting WAR rumor is true? I am one Happy Camper and avid WAR fan….just placed a WTT my 30mm flex for a 357 WAR…anyone? Well congrats and thanks again for the inspiration…talked to Mike Heverly about powder coating this new WARps chassis, shroud, mod and buffer tube to Hogues Red Lava pattern I love. How more add there babies pics to this……such great guns cut short in its prime but we will keep them alive here forever!!!

So, when I shot it last, I’m not sure if my chronograph was reading wrong or if the velocity is that much different with a DonnyFL Shogun attached. Anyway, this is the 28 shot string I shot today over the chronograph. Starting pressure was at 3200 and ending was at 2200 psi. If I take shots 3-23, which were roughly 3100-2350 psi, I think that’s a pretty good shot string. Sorry for the inflated numbers, I’m not sure what the difference is from the last time I chronographed it. Even with a 58 fps extreme spread, I was keeping nickel sized groups at 50. I’m happy anyway.

I removed the suppressor and the velocity was the same. Not sure what got into my chronograph. Anyway, not too bad averaging 920 over 21 shots when I keep the good curve.

I love the Flex stock cutoff look. Loved my Flex until I got a WARp LoL same gun just much lighter. I think I’m going to send one off to get the chassis, shroud, mod and buffer tube Hogues Red Lava pattern I love, I sure being Hawaiian has nothing to do with it though hahaha. really want another adapter to fit UNF mods to my other WARp…any ideas? Called Veridiumair and waiting to hear back from them…sweet work on a classic US monster hunter.
