Air Arms Custom TX200 Semi Carbine .20 Build

Having some fun always wanted to have a 20 caliber TX200. My friend Mark and I continually hype each other up for projects like this

I have machined the .20 LW blank to be a length of roughly 11.75" and am using a Carbon Fiber Shroud.

It will have a magnetic latch, I have to chop the underlever and rethread it for the end plug. Either that or chop it and ream out the arm for 10mm to insert the magnet directly in the lever, but I believe I'd prefer the adjustable end plug for fine tuning the magnet.

It currently is at 10.5fpe w/ 13.7gr JSB, the spring kit installed is a weak old Vortek kit that I'll be replacing w/ a new spring from Tom soon or maybe I can dig one up in my stash.

Anyways, here are a few pictures of the journey.

Hope it shoots so good that you can win the worlds with it

Got it back together with a skirtless 25mm piston right at 185 grams. The spring was swapped with what I believe is an ARH spring fitted to an OEM guide.

It's shooting at 12.9fpe right now and feels fine, I'll work on making a fitted guide when I get back from Easter weekend.

Stacking the 13.7gr jsbs at 25y!
