Custom slugs

I love powder coating my slugs for a custom touch.....I have had good luck with it in .22 cal and .510 in hand lapped lother walther barrels...At night the powder coat pills look like traces through digital night vision...I love watchin the trace to impact...Like a little kid...Call them what ever you want...Swage slugs the highest quality...

Naming an object, and activity, an organization, or a place is cool — it makes it somehow more "yours".... 😃

So, enjoy.

Here are some ideas:
➊ Make the name short — so it you don't need to write so much when taking notes.

➋ Plan the name in such a way that future iterations of your slugs can easily be distinguished.

➌ An example of a possible name:
C .2175 BT .15HP

Or simply abbreviate it C01 — and keep a list (on paper and the cellphone) where each model C01, C02, C03, etc. is described in detail.

C = stands for the slug press, e.g., Corbin

.2175 = exact diameter in inches

BT = boat tail

.15HP = 0.15" deep hollow point

I also would add some data about the ogive angle, the ogive length, meplat diameter, and other specs that you probably know more about than I do — as I haven't plunged into that particular rabbit hole of swaging (last year I missed the hole by only inches).
Great webpage for more info on this last spec:

Have fun! 😃

I have been 3d printing tins that have Corbin .218 xxxxgr. This way I can keep them organized and know what I have and where.

As long as you have them documented somewhere on what they are ... name them what you want!

If you make one for gun 1 ....... gun 1 bunny buster, or gun 1 bunny slapper. Something like this is where my mind goes
