ct law on full auto bb guns ?

i have been trying to purchase a select fire c-96 bb gun co2.but most sellers will not ship to ct.no reason given.i can have it shipped to another state and have friend mail to me,but want to make sure i will not involve him in any unlawful act.in searches i can not find a law banning it in ct,except for one town that has ban Stratford.any information appreciated,thanks.

Have you checked any new laws enacted after the attacks in Newtown? Perhaps there was something that was vaguely worded about 'high-capacity' magazines in assault weapons (not specifically firearms perhaps?).

While I know Connecticut has some really archaic laws (guns notwithstanding) on the books, I wonder about this in more than one direction. For example, what use is a fully-automatic BB gun? I mean, really! Neat to have perhaps, and fun too I suspect. But from a practical point of view, it is a dangerous toy, at least in the wrong hands.
