Cry babies on the forum.

Hang in there, Anthony. There will always be those who denigrate the opinions of others. Just stand by your principles and ignore the trolls.

I too have had my share of unfair and uninformed criticism here on AGN. But, Michael is a reasonable person, and closely examines the interchanges here on the forum. You can rest assured that he will adjudicate in a fair manner. Believe me, he is watching the behavior of the aforementioned trolls.

The vast majority of members are great guys (and some gals, I presume) who have sage advice and camaraderie to offer. Don't let the few inevitable nimrods ruin your AGN experience.

I appreciate it. I just don’t understand some guys sometimes.some great fellas here and then again there’s a bunch of babies as well

X 10 On This one!! The Sad fact and Truth it's Those members From over-their that bring it Here from GTA !!! Quote {It is RAMPANT ……..AND BELIEVE ME IT'S NOT JUST HERE. Go over there to GTA where is an abundance of diaper wearing 60 year olds that cry and whine about EVERYTHING. Do you hear me? EVERYTHING!!!!!! I hate that other forum, When I say hate……DESPISE………loathe, these are understatements. Those people are the worst of the worst with their wannabe online Disney Land along with rainbows and unicorns in their back yards. TRAVIS is the worst backstabbing, wimpy , crybaby, wannabe moderator that site has to offer. Well worthy of a punch in the mouth. This place is MUCH MUCH BETTER. I have never seen a bigger bunch of over aged, whiny, knowitall wannabes, including that idiot from Hawaii who cant keep a job, I forgot his name…….MANNY….thats it, Manny.} end Quote

GTA is the worse I have ever Seen Without a Doubt !!!! Things are better here! at AGN! , Bit more class for sure!! . But their still those few That Need to Be Bottle Fed.

I would imagine the reason you don't see the BS on Gun forums is because most firearm owners will tell you to Suck it up Buttercup.

This is the best airgun form bar none. Hats off to Ted for starting it and to Michael for keeping things straight and on line. When I was new to air gunning, and I am still new, when I would ask a question I was made to feel like an ass. Every question I has as has bee answered with respect weather it be on a form or private message thanks guys for keeping it on the up and up.

I am glad you have had a good experience Bruce. I will say that there are certainly "no-go zones" for newbies, such as the previously mentioned Yellow Forum. Sometimes when people have been at it for a while, they grow weary of newbie questions, and they only want to ponder the "inner mysteries" of air guns and shooting technique. I think many people here can still clearly remember their starting point with air guns. It tends to make them more approachable with questions. I certainly remember some of my foolish early choices, those mistakes helped me grow. I would strongly prefer to help others avoid those same mis-steps. I still cringe a bit when I see someone with a big-box-store magnum springer, who wants to toss on a cheap CenterPoint scope (and go hunting bears with it). At one point, about half of use were that guy ;)

Remembering where each of us started certainly helps us maintain a margin of humility, which has the risk of fading away with time.

Every forum has rules and as a forum member we are obliged to read , understand and obey those rules. If we do not respect those rules then there are certain consequences that need to be acknowledged. Bottom line is RESPECT. If you as an individual do not understand the concept of respect then don't whine when your actions or rule infractions cause you to be punished when the forum rules are enforced .

Well said addertooth.

Hey sfttaitrdr46??????? Aren't you a moderator over there on the Yellow/coward board? Somehow I'd expect you to come to the defense of the indefensible. Yes you are correct. There are rules. The last thing anyone needs is a lecture about rules like all of us are little children. As far as Punishment goes.......come try to punish me. I'll give you my address and number. Lets see how tough you are about punishing grown men on the internet, face to face. You're exactly what's wrong with that other forum, You get to decide what's good for everyone over there. Like an overlord. And here you talk about respect. Nobody owes you or your " yellow board" Anything. Lets talk about respect though , since you brought it up. How respectful is it when Travis comes over here lurking around, and then goes right back to your Alice in Wonderland themed, airgun forum for 60 year old men who wear diapers, and then starts downing this site, calling names and whatnot? What did you do about that? Nothing , thats what. How respectful. Your forum over there is the worst of the worst, the scum at the bottom of the barrel and sooner or later people are going to get sick of it. Nobody can take a joke over there, nobody has any type of sense of humor, you sit around and ban Merry Christmas threads directed to the forum and all its members. Even had one of your ridiculous , low IQ mamby pamby , pacifier sucking moderators come into that thread " Oh this is very disrespectful" so his voice could be heard and feared, along with Mannys whining as icing on the cake, AND YOU AND OTHERS LIKE YOU sat around trying to pick the thread apart, looking for reasons to " punish" someone because they told you and your forum, Merry Christmas. You are IDIOTS. All of you, as in, your entire Moderator Corp. I have never seen such babyfied crap in my entire life. You're nothing more than a clan of overlooked, yellow bellied Dictators over there and the highlight of your meaningless lives is to banish grown men from your little stink club, for adolescent reasons. I would apologize if I have offended anyone with the truth, But I'm NOT sorry. Not one bit.

Now take that back to Dave and the rest of your clan, because I know you will. You people are crap. And thats how you need to be treated. In the real world with all your BS over there, that is EXACTLY HOW YOU WOULD BE TREATED. Just try doing what you guys do over there in the real world. Toupees' dentures and hats trying to cover bald spots would be flying.

I've read quite enough. Hope y'all purged what ya wanted, cuz this topic is being locked. We've got a few RULES of our own:

  1. Before you post or reply, ask yourself, “Is my post going to be: constructive, insightful, or helpful in advancing the airgun community?”
  2. Speak to everyone as you would like to be spoken to. Abusive language, profanity, and/or Trolling is not allowed.
    [/LIST=1]

    Thanks

    -Michael
