Cry babies on the forum.

Men do embrace hobbies strongly. Some spend thousands of dollars on their hobbies, and that amount is significant to them. Sometimes they are unhappy after paying a princely sum (to them), on a products, and face disappointment. I keep this in mind when I see comments. I tend to purchase less expensive air gun toys, as such, if it disappoints me, my first thought is to modify it to make it behave in a fashion I wish. Most shooters like the thought of an air gun which perfectly matches their needs and desires. It can be difficult to find anything off the shelf which is a perfect fit. Many people here are not former gunsmiths and machinists, as such, the task of modifying is quite daunting for them. They are only left with disappointment when their ideal goals are not met. I tend to cut them a bit of slack. We are group here, which has mutual interests which we all find interesting. I find little positive margin in being too critical, everyone had a starting point, and frequently make the same errors. In the military "suck it up Buttercup" is a common phrase when someone voices unhappiness, but this is not a military organization, and I accept that.

It is RAMPANT ........AND BELIEVE ME IT'S NOT JUST HERE. Go over there to GTA where is an abundance of diaper wearing 60 year olds that cry and whine about EVERYTHING. Do you hear me? EVERYTHING!!!!!! I hate that other forum, When I say hate......DESPISE.........loathe, these are understatements. Those people are the worst of the worst with their wannabe online Disney Land along with rainbows and unicorns in their back yards. TRAVIS is the worst backstabbing, wimpy , crybaby, wannabe moderator that site has to offer. Well worthy of a punch in the mouth. This place is MUCH MUCH BETTER. I have never seen a bigger bunch of over aged, whiny, knowitall wannabes, including that idiot from Hawaii who cant keep a job, I forgot his name.......MANNY....thats it, Manny. The cream of the crop when it comes to reporting and crying to moderators, just slightly behind Travis in that category. That guy reported a Merry Christmas thread last year if you can believe that.........because it was in the wrong category. Ive never seen anything like it. EVER. And then you have Bob......Mr. resident expert over there. He crunches all these numbers that nobody over there understands while he's half drunk in Canada lecturing everything about ballistic coeffecients and whatnot, and NEVER EVER understanding that you could give him the worlds most accurate airgun costing 10,000 and he could still be waxed off the bench by a guy like me using a Regal XL, because there are a million other factors that lead the projectile to the same hole as the one before it,,, and his 2 inch per second consistency MEANS ABSOLUTLY ZERO. Oh God, the list goes on.......trust me......these are just a few examples. Not to mention the moderators who are standing at the ready........with nothing to do.....never had any type of authority and buttkissed their way to moderation status , so they can slap wrists and treat grown men like small children. I wish I had not seen this thread. I HATE that other forum with a purple passion and hope that real men finally get sick of it and it Dies off slowly. I would do anything........I mean ANYTHING no matter the cost, to see that happen.

So if you think it's bad here, go spend a month or two over there. And bring a truckload of pacifiers with you so you can pass them out ...........no wait, three truckloads! So you can pass them out during your experience over there. I wish I hadnt seen this thread. Right now, I wish I could make Travis swing at me, so I could punch him right in his face. Alright THAT'S IT. I done made myself mad. Anyway. There's that.

Hang in there, Anthony. There will always be those who denigrate the opinions of others. Just stand by your principles and ignore the trolls. 

I too have had my share of unfair and uninformed criticism here on AGN. But, Michael is a reasonable person, and closely examines the interchanges here on the forum. You can rest assured that he will adjudicate in a fair manner. Believe me, he is watching the behavior of the aforementioned trolls.

The vast majority of members are great guys (and some gals, I presume) who have sage advice and camaraderie to offer. Don't let the few inevitable nimrods ruin your AGN experience.
