As I logged these I noticed every time I made a change in power? The velocity dropped 25-30 fps first shot.
Didn't matter if I went up or down
I've been trying to find "harmony" as Ted calls it with this gun. I had the reg at 140 bar, HS tension pretty stiff. FPS was a mess. Dropped the reg to 135?
That's seems to be what it likes.
25.4 Level 3. First shot 861 then. 885-902
level 4. First shot 874 then 917-925
Max. First shot 841 then 932-948
Skipped 5? brain fart.
This with the power wheel on max.

So then I went to "177-22" or medium
858-845 pretty consistent!

I think I found harmony! I'll drop to 130 just to be sure.
So many combinations!

check the forum , lots of chat help there
Did you follow Ted video , stock off etc, when off screw in adjuster not wheel to max then back it off.

Funny you brought this up, I just shot a string of 14 yesterday with weight sorted MKI's. The regulator is set at 135-140 and I was on setting 5. My first shot was a little low but the remaining 13 were really tight. This was shooting indoors with a light kit and the muzzle 1' from the first sensor. No cherry picking either.

I think most regulated airguns do that to some degree with the first shot being a little off kilter after a fill. I know most of the seasoned FT shooters that I've run across at the matches always shoot a shot or two into the ground right after they fill their gun with air.

Do you know if this also applies to letting a gun sit and then picking it up, like the next day?
Is the first shot off in that case?
