Crown vs. Airwolf MCT

Some of you have been anxiously awaiting this video!
Hope you enjoy! Toss me a + if you feel like it. :)
Try to not judge my groups too harshly. It had been over 2 months since I had even thought about shooting at 100 yards.

After shooting this video, It was obvious to me that I had to work at getting back in shape for the longer ranges. So, I broke out a different rifle from my collection and proceeded to practice until I pulled off a few 10 shot groups like these...

And a few more 1-3/4-2" groups. Ahhhh.... I feel better now. :)

Happy Shooting!

great video like to see you putting them through the test. Would like to see a test between the WildCat .25 cal and Crown .25 cal. we have both..Keep up the good work. Where did you get the single shot tray for the Crown? If I can not find one I am going to try my hands at making one on my mill.
Great looking place you have there, we love seeing the wildlife and hunting them. First time we have seen the stream on your place. We love going out west, we have friends in Sheridan,WY but it's been a years few sense we have back out there.Love the Big Horn Mountions.

Nice job Tom. I asked the question, " to lube or not to lube" a while back and I think you answered that question. Some rifles do better with lube. So now if you want to be accurate you have to sort, weigh, size, and lube. Not to mention, tune the rifle, play the wind, level the rifle, have the same cheek weld..............whew!
Gave you plus and this!

@campfussell - Thanks man. I had a really nice looking buck hanging around for a while.

@kk4iz - Crown vs WC would be interesting but, you have to keep in mind that you'd be shooting 2 different platforms. Bullpup vs. Traditional. One of my SS trays for the Crown was made by a member here that wishes to remain anonymous. The other was made by Ernest during a trial run. I have no idea if he is still making them or not. They're both different and have their own advantages over one another.

@NMshooter - You forgot abut washing too! Wash, inspect, weigh, size, lube (I feel like I'm forgetting something else too).
Thanks for the +!! :) Trying for the big 2 0 0 ! lol

Great vid Tom! I was really anticipating this comparison as I am thinking hard on selling my AW for a Crown.
I wash and weigh sorting by weight. I haven't started sorting by head size yet. I did start lubing recently using Slick50-1
Never going to back to non lubed! I was really surprised at the difference.
I have the CF tank on mine and don't fill past 210 BAR that's where her sweet spots starts it's a waste of air going to
230 BAR I still get 50 shots plus per fill.
Keep up the good work!

Dennis

My budding is looking into making a iron on patch. There is new technology
out that makes these much better.
