The Crown may be better for you with less problems with potential electronic failure from the Wolf and consider 25 cal over 30 if you are shooting in your backyard with a substantial increase in decibels from the 30 cal

thank you thats Nice i do have a slot for .30 and .25 so would you have another choice for a .30 please

Hi - Just joined and just got my FAC so looking at either the

FX CROWM .30 or the DAYSTATE RED WOLF SAFARI .30 any one advise please?
I think you will be very happy with both. I have owned both and loved them both. I never had any electronics issues with either of my Red Wolfs. The decision comes down to what is important to you.

My Crown has been my favorite rifle I have owned. A few thoughts…

Red Wolf
  1. Electronic trigger on the Red Wolf is amazing!
  2. Very accurate
  3. Limited on power settings unless you get a programmer or Helliboard. The default settings are tried and true, but you are stuck with them. That being said… the 30 doesn’t need any many power options as a 22 or 177.
  4. Very sturdy and well made.
  5. Like the adjustable cheek piece factory.
Crown
  1. Very accurate. Mine was able to be slightly better than either of my Red Wolfs. Not by a huge margin, and I’m not suggesting that the Crown is more accurate overall.
  2. Lots of power options. The Crown is very easy to adjust, and I like being able to slightly tweak the power between different pellets. With 30cal pellets, this probably only helps in small changes with weather and environment.
  3. Barrel is not as sturdy as Red Wolf, but MKII is more stable than MK1. A tensioner can help.
  4. I like that there are more stock options. I am a chassis guy and the Saber Tactical chassis was perfect for me.
