CROWN THREAD

Can someone tell me what the thread size is on the shroud? (.25)
I want to have a CF shroud made that will be fixed and 3" longer than factory.
Any one know of someone that can do this?

Dennis, are you talking about the threads on the cone piece? If so I just measured the pitch and it's 1.5, the OD of the male threads measured up on the high peaks is 25.84mm so I'd say it's probably a M26X1.5. I wasn't crazy about the adustable Crown shroud so I used the one off my Royale 500. Sometimes simpler is better..

Thanks Jimmy, I wonder if the end of the shroud is the same. At first I thought it was kinda cool having the option to extend? But then practicality came into play.
The gun leaning up against something retracted I grab the barrel and it extends. Having sighted in extended and grabbing out of the rig for a quick shot retracted and missing!
So like you I am going to find a remedy.

The end of the barrel is threaded right? Can we just remove the shroud and screw on a DonnyFL and call it good?

Dennis, the female ends are the same on both ends of the shroud, just checked my take-off. Sure you can just screw a moderator on the end of the barrel. That's what Tominco did to his. I bought Donny's well made adapters and tried his Tatsu on the end of mine but didn't care for the looks of that setup, so the Tatsu went on the Wildcat where it looks great and the Royale shroud went on the Crown. I'm good now...
