Has anyone measured the noise level difference between the shroud in vs out?
Or just a subjective guess as to the difference?

@AS.. Ironically Air-fective popped up on you tube yesterday! I sent Liam an email. We'll see how it goes. On mine in front of that cone shaped piece at the breach about 4" is a hub that acts as a stop when extending the barrel. Looks like there is a grub screw on top the can be loosened and then one could reposition the length of travel of the shroud. I bet that little hub is not on yours? On the muzzle is just a cap. I should take pics but I suck at up loading the damn things!

So I went to order the crown ldc adapter from DonnyFL and I saw the new tanto ldc for 99 bucks, I ordered both, what a addictive sport we have.

i measured sound with shroud in both positions and theres a noticeable difference in sound reduction. a sound measuring phone app showed a change of a couple decibels. however, i dont like extending the shroud and never used it that way. i usa a sumo moderator with shroud retracted and that's significantly quieter than no moderator and extended shroud.
