Crown owners are the smooth-x barrels choked?

Just out of interest was wondering what the initial barrels came with. Fx stated it will be an option to have either choked or not once they make the 'custom' inners available but what option did fx choose for the first batches of .25 & .30 rifles?

My bent barrel is choked both ends!
Yes, choked but as you write I think they will be available without. I guess the choking is a second step and can be left out.
My replacement barrel is coming but of course could be a while.

For others reading this; Customs did not damage the barrel . A representaive of our importer observed the Customs' inspection, it was not even subjected to the "drop test".
The damage was done during trasit by Australia Post. ... Harry.

Thanks Harry. I was curious as I have heard some knowledgeable people on hear who have had good results with non choked barrels. I thought perhaps fx may have gone without the choke.

I gathered from various interviews of Fredrick (owner of FX) that they can just feed the parameters to their new bespoke machine and it can impress any twist rate and choke in one go and that is why the barrel liners are comparatively affordable. However I could be wrong. The actual process will be a closely guarded secret. What matters is you can choose whether you want a choked barrel or not.
