I just got a crown 30 today and I was wondering what Donny fl moderator that would be best for this rifle. Are they actually worth getting? It’s pretty quiet as is but quieter is always better.

FX guns are fairly quiet as is, Adding a moderator generally adds length to the gun if its big enough to make a real difference.

I'd go with a fx moderator. Hugely lighter in weight. Though you would want to get some baffles for it.

What thread size is on your crown?
Adding a moderator is worth it regardless of added length IMO, but depending on where you shoot and how its tuned it might not be as necessary..

I assumed all the crowns had the same thread size and needed to Donny fl adapter to run a moderator. It is pretty quiet and I’m mainly shooting on farms but it would be better if quieter.
