Crow Magnum woes are coming around!

If any of you read my post about the post office destroying my package and loosing or stealing my stock in the process! Well things are coming together. I've been searching the world over Lol. Literally!

I found a very nice walnut stock from David Slade at Airgunwerks that's been sitting around his shop for years just waiting for my gun....but then I realized that my trigger guard was attached to the stock that's gone forever and the post office still telling me to bad so sad ! 

I remembered David telling me some time ago about Impact airguns in the UK. Contacted them today and have a brand new Theoben Eliminator trigger guard and a new piston crown on the way from merry old England...I was so worried that I would never make this gun whole again but its coming around. 🤗 I'll get some pics up before and after when she's back together!

Hi ChuckHunter....Murphy’s Law on the first lost stock, but great news for you on the spares. I have to say I’m really envious of your future set up:). I would love to get an Eliminator in my hands. Saving for AOA’s hw90 deal now How a great powerful, elegant gun like yours disappears out of production- the whole Theoben line is beyond me! Glad you got one and look forward to any future reviews:). I live up in the UP (newer) and understand air rifles are legal for grouse hunting? Hope so! Anyway blessings on the full Eliminator package coming together soon!

I wanted to get up that way this summer but things just haven't worked out.

HW90 is a great rifle with even a better trigger than the theoben. The one on my .20 crow magnum is good to but only after a lot of tinkering and smoothing to get it that way.

And yes all small game in Michigan is now legal with an airrifle! Even deer if you use at least .35/9mm caliber. I remember years ago when grouse were everywhere here in lower peninsula but now you hardly ever hear or see them. Even pheasants are pretty scarce these days. Turkeys are everywhere though!

Hey....Good news on the HW90 having a decent trigger if it doesn’t get up to the power of the Eliminator:). I’ll be interested to see that stock you found when it all comes together. I wish more companies focused on- or at least pushed a couple options of gas rams that were powerful, pretty, & accurate. Good to know you’re vote on the HW90 as a good gun & one I’ll start on hopefully soon. Maybe AirForce Airguns can bring the Eliminator back with an improved stock trigger in the future? Heard they were trying to bring back a few Theobens....All the best on your project & more grouse in lower MI:)
