I've got a Crossman pump master ive had for probably 15 or so years. I went to shoot it the other day and it pumps up but then when you shoot it has no power first shot but if you load it without pumping it will shoot 3 or 4 times at a low power like the air is getting trapped somehow. Anybody have a clue as to why it would do that? Ive had them blow seals and thats easy to determine but uve never seen one do this before.

Can’t say for sure but had a similar issue with a gun and it was the valve. The valve wasn’t letting all the air go through the transfer port and was holding a little bit still in the Plenum. Replaced the valve and everything was good.Don’t know if it was actually the valve or the spring for the valve. Replaced the whole works. I’m just saying it’s a possibility with yours.

Have you tried using some pellgun oil in the pump tube? Probably just needs some internal lube. Parts might be dry. I used to put oil in the pump tube opening and pump the rifle. Shooting normally dispersed the oil throughout the internals. Had my Crosman 2100 for some 30+ years. Still works like it always had.
