I was just thinking if you make the valve longer. Wouldn't that be better to get more air into the bowl on a 2250? Say anybody got any ideas on that?

I put in one of the larger transfer ports and it did well with the 16” barrel I use. I pieced together my 2250 build, it’s not a factory 2250.

the 2250 uses the same valve as the 2240
and if you creased the valve volume by length you would have to deal with the valve stem, and spring
a lighter valve spring and heavier hammer spring could do the same thing by holding the valve open that spit second more
and a boss valve could possibly do all that with just a valve replacement
you are getting in the world of R&D and all that takes is time and money
a video and his way of getting more internal valve capacity starts at 2:30
