Recently nabbed a Crosman Vantage NP in .22 during Pyramyd's 20 percent off Crosman sale just to have springer in the house. Step two was to pull up the late Kenny Kormendys Youtube on replacing the trigger adjustment screw and spring with a 5X8X2.5 mm roller bearing. It was a very simple operation and the trigger is greatly improved with length of pull reduced at least by half and going from 3 pounds 9 ounces on the Lyman trigger gauge to 2 pounds even. It is nowhere near crisp, but it is a very decent trigger for the price point of this rifle. This is my first nitro piston gun and it is indeed smoother and quieter than a standard springer.
I know -- every one else in the world has been there and done that with the Vantage, but it is my habit to come late to the party, it seems.
