Crosman Premier 7.9 gr Hollow Points and Beeman R9

I've recently purchased a beeman r9 thanks to a lot of helpful advice from members on here and am about to purchase some pellets for it. I'm looking at getting some Crosman 7.9gr premier hollowpoints due to availability and price. From my research, they seem to do quite well in the Beeman r9's. Has anybody had any negative experiences with this combination? How has this combo performed for you?

I've also had excellent results with the 7.9 CPHP pellets in the 500 round tins across a wide range of guns recently. I also use the 8.44 Air Arms DF and the 7.33 AA Falcons regularly but the value and performance balance of the CPHP pellets in the tins has been great for me lately. The H&N pellets are excellent in many guns as well. No way to know for certain without trying for yourself in your gun.

As stated, the ones in the boxes are usually excellent in .177 Weihrauchs. I shoot them a bunch.

What I've found is there tends to be a lot of undersized pellets in the tins. If they shoot pretty well with the exception of odd fliers, try sorting out the small ones if you are so inclined for better accuracy.

I like to lube mine with White Lightnin chain lube.

If you get em local give em a shot. They may be great. Who knows!

Contrary to this, I've found that several of my guns shoot the current 7.9 CPHP's in tins extremely consistently. There is a bit more variation to them as to size (tightness in leade) but I've found that the accuracy has been excellent with no odd fliers. This could change with the next tin but that is true of any pellet line. They are well worth having to try in any gun IMO.
