Crosman pellets

I was on the Crosman site this AM, they finally got some pellets in. I ordered 10 of the 14.3 hollow points and 5 of their spinning targets (on sale for like $5) After using the agnation code pretty good deal Be sweet if they still had free shipping. I was charged $20 shipping I'd have to go back and look but I think it boils down to $9 a tin (500 count)

I checked online at the Walmart here in Columbus, Ga (The Crossman are hollow points):

There were more than just these three, I just didn't do a screen shot of them.

I gobbled up the 14.3 CPDs when I could but now they seem to be few and far between. When I say gobble I mean fair and friendly like your buddy bringing in some KFC into the Applebees. CPH are not bad but CPD really seem to buck the wind a bit better and tappy tappy tap the target out to 75 yards. I'm afraid to try the Madonna Bra version of these pellets :(

What's the deal with the scarcity? I noticed .17 CPD is plentiful but .22 CPD is rare. This 'aint gonna be one of these panic buying hoarding nonsense things for the next bajillon years like .22 LR and folks moving to .17 HMR I hope.

I have a Diana 54 Air King pro in .22 cal that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. Pellets ordered show delivery Sat and I know I will be anxious to try it so stopped by Wal mart and picked up a tin of the Crossman Premier hollow points, $6.24, close to half the price of anything I have ordered. I just opened the tin and took a quick look, and they look fine ,Shiney, clean and skirts appear round and undamaged. I was wanting something with better long range capability than my .177 air guns, and hope this will meet my expectations. If those pellets are reasonably accurate I may stop back by and pick up a few extra tins, It will certainly be much less expensive than shooting rimfire or centerfire, plus not having to drive 50 miles to the range.

I've had some luck finding CP domes, at least in .22 cal. at my local Tractor Supply stores, they don't always have them, I ask them where they got them and never got a clear answer, at first they said I could order them so I said "get me one tin", no dice, out of stock, sounds like Tractor Supply has a warehouse, somewhere, that has a horde of them, one store said "they came in from time to time", some place to keep an eye on...I do, got these last week, had to drive to the next town, my local store called around and found them for me, 9 bucks a tin, good luck!
