American Air Arms Crosman Model 160 .22 cal

Great thread. I picked up a Crosman 160 on Craigslist that needed some attention, did the rebuild with some help from YouTube, and it now holds pressure. I've only had a chance to test fire it, but am looking forward to seeing how accurate it is. The barrel rifling was a pretty sight when it was apart. As I'm new to the game and enjoy a challenge and a project, I am grateful for the good information out there to help me along. The sight on this rifle alone was worth the effort.

Thanks for looking in.

Happy to hear that! Give the barrel a good cleaning and I think you'll be surprised at how accurate it is with modern pellets.

Cheers,

I made 11mm dovetail bases for a Variant 3 160. The front base held on by the barrel screw. Rear is epoxied on. It's been on there 30 years even though it's gone out in the field.. But I'm not clumsy with my guns.
I think I have 2 more with that Mossberg sight. And a Variant 2 with slide safety and convertible peepsight.
Neat guns
