I am currently in the process of rebuilding my Crosman Mark I in .22 caliber. I ordered an O-ring set off eBay and it just came in a couple days ago. Now to clean and put back together. I will reach out if I have any questions.
I always lube o-rings with silicone grease to enable them to slide in easily with less chance of damaging them.Ok, this was quick - someone else's thread got me thinking. On this Mark I, should I coat the O-rings in anything? And also, there is a brass piston, should I coat it with any lubricant? Anything else that I should do while putting it back together? Or maybe as important - anything I shouldn't do?
Good jobGot it put back together and it is working marvelous - pretty darn accurate at 15-yrds freehand too.
