Crosman Mark 1 Target .22 cal PELLGUN – 52 pics inside to tell the story

I have been a member of this forum for quite some time. I am no expert, however, just a guy with an addiction to the hobby of air gunning! That being said if you will – follow along as I attempt to entertain you with my little weekend project that took place just a few days ago*.
I purchased a Crosman MARK 1 Target .22 CAL. PELLGUN with some modifications back in about 2004. At that time, as you might have noticed, I was going through my phase of how long of a barrel can one put on a pistol. The person building it for me said the maximum that he would suggest was 17 1/2”.

I enjoyed it as a pistol and posted here about several 50 yard groups with a cheap 9 power “Blazer” WallyWorld scope. I think that thing had a fixed 100 yard parallax. But hey it worked. Things quickly evolved into the carbine scene. I tore into a Crosman 1322 shoulder stock with various tools and added some wood for LOP issues then some tennis racket grip tape. Well you know the result. Just see above! I recently converted it to run on regulated nitrogen. I have a small tank regulated at 775 PSI and … well let’s just wait on that part. I used a bulky coily hose to get the nitrogen from the tank to the bulk fill adapter on the MARK 1. Worked great for CO2 even better on the nitrogen.

I recently decided it was time to make a change to the little carbine. So a box arrived! Actually it was several packages that as I waited for them all to arrive I just put them in one big box until every part that I wanted arrived. Well as of this post I am waiting on one part – hope it arrives before I post this thread.
*Update: The project took place the weekend of December 9-10, 2017. It was taking me so long to get to write this up that I posted today, December 18th, a thread asking if I should just go ahead and post the pics since it is clear that I am not going to be able to write up a short description for each pic. So with that being said I hope you enjoy the show!
Before I continue – a special “Thank You” to two artists of the Airgun craft:
  • Thank you to Mike @ TKO for the incredible work on the shroud. Precision my friend, engineered and beautiful too! Thank you sir. A pleasure doing business with you.

  • Thank you to Vernon Austin for the incredible grips! I had some from RB that fit well, however, yours fit the frame like a glove. Nice and snug with no movement at fit my hands very well. A pleasure doing business with you as well.

I am running right at 800 PSI regulated. The new slim micro hose from Ninja not only is made in the USA but a huge improvement over the bulky coily hose that has served me for years and years.
I sighted in within 10 shots. No pics of groups, however, at the distance to the shooting board (about 28 yards) one hole groups is no problem at all.
Any questions just ask – I will answer when I get a chance to check out the forums.

Hope you enjoyed the show!
~GOD BLESS~
