Yeah dont waste your money. The mags break, they have feeding problems, and they're just overall very cheaply made.
What are you trying to use the gun for and what is your MAX budget here?
I appreciate the answers guys, what I'm looking for is a solid plinker with small game hunting capabilities. Right now I have a Benjamin Prowler .177 break barrel. I love it, I am very much a beginner and it was in my $150 beginner budget to start. I have a better 3-9 scope on the way and it has given me zero issues so far, I've ran about 500 pellets through so far.
Honestly, I absolutely love the 'bipod look" , I've been watching videos and reading up on possibly ways to attach a bipod to a break barrel that isn't really meant for one.
I have looked into the "gen 2 side mount bipod kit" from Airgun Detectives, however, on the Prowler the front forefrip is rounded, it's not flat, so I don't see the two little picatinny rails sitting flush on it. Only other option I can see is under the barrel, sort of in the middle , right behind the cocking mechanism. I have measured it seems like it will work.
I would rather get a break barrel that is made for a bipod or already comes with one. The "Black Ops Sniper " by Berra ($180) is an option I saw, as well as the Gamo Shadow Maxim , currently $150 on Gamos website .
My budget I'm looking for $200 or under for now, HOWEVER!! I am very much enjoying my new hobby here, and I was also looking at PCPs, like the Sig Sauer Virtus, it's over double my budget with the pump , BUT! If it's worth it I will pay the extra money .My endgame is the Benjamin Aramada, to the tune of $800 , but that's down the line.
I hope that kind of explains what I'm looking for guys, again I appreciate any and all feedback! Lemme know what you guys are running!
Also, I would like to have a multi shot , I don't mind loading each shot but a solid mutli shot would be preferred, NOT CO2 please! The weather we get in Colorado, I can see issues in the winter for sure, I'd like to stick with a piston or pcp
