I have the Crosman intermounts that attach to the barrel of my Benjamin 392 that gives me the 3/8" dovetail needed to mount a scope. But my scope is a bit too far forward and I have to lean into it to get a good sight picture with the scope I have and it has decent eye relief.
I was given a nice Discovery scope that is more suited to an airgun, but it has less eye relief than the T/C I'm currently using. I have seen people using one intermount on the breech and one on the barrel, but I was wondering, wouldn't that put the scope at too much of a cant? Beyond being able to shim it into place?
I was wondering if I would be able to use both the intermounts on the breech even though it is a bigger diameter than the barrel, would they even fit?
