Crosman H9A series pump pistol

Dose anyone have any experience with this Crosman pistol I’ve had it for probably 13 years I would say and never really shot it much because when I got it I was I young and pumping it was a challenge now that I’m 22 it’s obviously very easy and was shooting it today after stumbling across it at my parents house.

Hi Vjsm8576 ... you twist the knurled silver end to the left, then grip it tight and pull back till you hear a click, this cocks the trigger and opens a port on the breach a little bit further down toward the muzzle. Drop your pellet into the opening with the open end (skirt) facing backwards toward you, push the knurled end forward as far as it will go, then twist it to the right, this locks it in place for your shot. I'd suggest you pump your pistol up before cocking and loading a pellet. I'd also suggest you start sighting in at a modest distance to start with, like 10 yards or less, and that you only pump the pistol about 4 times rather than the max 8 till you have it sighted in, then readjust the elevation based on the distance you intend to practice at and the number of pumps you wish to use ... good luck ... H9A is a very accurate pistol, but a bit hard to pump up. If you are not very strong, starting with a lower number of pumps will be much easier, and as you gain strength, you can start adding pumps, soon you'll be able to knock out 8 pumps easily. The manual that comes with the pistol warns against pumping more than 8 times; the manufacturer states that more than 8 pumps can damage the pistol. There are a few pictures on line that show some easy trigger modifications to lighten the trigger pull, my H9A had a pretty stiff trigger to start with, but improved with some easy modifications. ... Good Luck!
