I got a Diana .22 460 Mag for a bobcat issue we had around here back in 2009. And I haven’t thought much about Airguns since. I happened on a YT video of 1780 Airgun by chance, so I started researching, not realizing Airguns went that far back. It’s incredible how many kinds of Airguns are made or were made.

I’ve always had a love of shooting. And we have a closed off 50 foot range out back of work. I decided to get something for outback, as the Diana is overkill and soda can ends at 120 feet open sites aren’t a challenge. After researching and watching hours of YT videos I narrowed it down to a replica, rifle, BB, quiet.

And the winner is above. I’ve had it about 6 weeks and I’ve put 2000 or so BB’s thru it. No jams, when it’s low on co2 it won’t cycle, usually around shot 200. It’s worked very well so far. Bolt hold open on last shot, mag release, select fire full auto, bolt release, cocking handle, tear down, just like the real thing. It’s amazing the technology for the price. It’s heavy, if you got handed it, you could mistake it for real. It sounds like a suppressed gun, not real loud, but real enough. I changed the fake plastic diffuser for a metal M4 birdcage, the fore grip, and the plastic sites to metal pop up, as a scope is pointless, all from eBay for $36. It hits can ends no issue at my 50 foot range and I’ve hit them at 75 foot or so at home, and I would call that it’s maximum usable range. As far as power, at 50 foot, it’s very good for the first 100 shots or so, dropping slowly. Now I got this one on sale from Bud’s for $159, and for what you get and what it does it’s really nice.

I put my ATN P series Gen 1+ night vision, I got with the Diana in ‘09, on it just for fun. The problem is, its not enough of a challenge, so now I’m researching for getting a pistol replica. Anyway it’s fun reading these forums and is a very valuable tool for deciding on a gun.
