Crosman Crosman CO2 Refill Cylinder for 114

My refill cylinder arrived on Saturday from JG Airguns for my Crosman 114. So today I had to give it a try with the little bit of gas in it. I was anxious having just refurbished this air rifle. To my surprise this 70 year old relic flung a half dozen pellets into the target like it just came out of the box! I think this 114 is now my favorite rifle of my collection.

Here's a typical shot chart for a 114.
Good for over 100 shots/fill, but keep it between 60-75 shots for better accuracy.
Thanks so much for this information!! Plan to visit the extinguisher shop this week and get the cylinder refilled. I'll be interested in the cost and any suggestions they might have for me. I spent 20 years having them service the fire extinguishers in our facilities here in town and some out of town. They probably won't remember my face but will know my name after thousands of signatures on their invoices. I was doing some searches on leaving gas in the rifle, most comments seemed to lean on keeping it charged with some. This morning, I was happy to hear it pop so no leaks overnight. Thanks again.

No issue even keeping your 114 stored fully charged.
I doubt the refill station will have an adaptor to fit the Crosman 10oz tank, and if they did, would probably not fill it for liability reasons.
I had a local shop set up a fire extinguisher with a siphon tube, and a fellow airgunner made an adaptor to be able to fill the portable 10oz Crosman cylinders.

Wadcutter you nailed that one! The extinguisher shop gave me lots of blank stares when I went in their store. Happened to be lunch time and all the service techs were in there. When I whipped out the cylinder they acted like it came from outer space. They did find the DOT info stamped on it; I had no idea it was there. They looked it up and the one youngster said he was certified to fill it but no adapters to fit it. So, the bottom-line was a NO. Hit the paintball store and it was almost as clueless. He did mention a shop that would have adapters I could possibly use. Ferrell Gas was more of a wave to go away, he was on the phone. This afternoon will be making calls rather than running to stores and searching the internet for adapters and how to set something up.
