Crosman Crosman Challenger front sight

Yep indeed, a photo would help! But it sounds like you have one of the three "Crosman Challenger" break-barrel springer rifles from the late 1980's. The model number should be stamped on the gun.

+ Challenger 6100 = Diana 45, with a weird stock similar to the old Diana 35S. (Likely a pressed-on one-piece plastic tunnel front sight. If there are parallel muzzle grooves, the standard Diana tunnel used for decades may also fit.)

+ Challenger 6300 = Anschutz 333 light sporter. (Same fixed post front sight as old Anschutz rimfire sporters.)

+ Challenger 6500 = Anschutz 335 deluxe sporter with angled breech lock lever similar to the old or new Walther LGV. (Any vintage Anschutz tunnel sight with interchangeable inserts, for 9mm muzzle rail spacing, will fit. The OEM one was the cheapest version, with clumsy spring-loaded insert retainer. The better threaded ones are easier to find.)
