Crosman Announces a New Regulated Marauder

Hot news at the annual Crosman CAAFTC Field Target competition in beautiful, Up-State New York is the unveiling of a new regulated Marauder.

This is a different gun from the Marauder field and target concept shown at the 2017 SHOT Show. It's going to be offered through the Crosman Custom Shop and will feature a full-time, Crosman-developed regulator.

Performance specs are 85+ shots at 950 FPS in .177 caliber and 80+ shots in .22 caliber at 850 FPS.

Looks are very similar to the existing model. Look for it to be available in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Crosman is getting caught flat footed with not doing a continuous improvement program with the Marauder.
We all hear rumors of rumors and rumors about rumors that a Field & Target model is coming just like UMAREX and the Gauntlet.
The US intelligence community should follow in the footsteps of how Crosman and UMAREX are able to keep such a tight lid as to what the holdup really is.

Well, not really all the features without the wait. If the hype is correct, the new Crosman regulator gets 70 shots per fill. Even with an after market regulator, the best I've seen is about 35 to 40. Mine, unregulated, shoots with a very flat shot curve, but the constant 830fps in the video is intriguing.

Doubt I'll wait for one though. Got other guns on the brain.
