Crosman 600 End Cap Jammed! Help!

First off, I know basically nothing about airguns. I recently got a Crosman 600, but the CO2 end cap is completely jammed shut. I am currently selling it on eBay, and got a message from someone telling me that it might be dangerous to open if it is jammed, and I will probably have to disclose it when shipping. When I go to fire it, it only clicks, no air is released. This makes me think that it isn't loaded with CO2. One thing that does concern me though is that I was thinking that pressurized air may be pushing the cap and jamming it shut. How should I proceed? Is this a risk? Should I remove the listing? How can I safely open remove the endcap?

I have worked with Schimel airguns for many years and have had the same problem. If there is any CO2 pressure in the gun you can not open the end cap. My solution was to drop the temperature of the gun and reduce the CO2 pressure in the gun to zero. To do this buy some dry ice and place the dry ice and gun into a good insulated foam container and let it set overnight. Once the gun is cooled to the dry ice temperature the internal CO2 pressure will be zero. Take the gun from the dry ice and immediately try to remove the end cap. If CO2 pressure was the problem the cap will come off. BE CAREFUL HANDLING THE COOLED GUN AND WEAR HEAVY GLOVES AS YOU CAN FREEZE YOUR HANDS IF YOU TOUCH THE GUN WITHOUT PROTECTION.

If the end cap will still not come off then the threads are jammed.
