crosman 2240 post modifications

I got bored and decided to modify my 2240. This has been an ongoing project....here are the results.

The only things I have left are a 18" barrel and a discovery stem and valve body with a special valve

I like your mods. I remember when Crooked Barn use to sell Boss Valves for 2240's and HPA kits. I think you are all over it with an 18" barrel , which i've found to be the optimum length for a 2240. Good luck with your build Summitshooter.

Thanks I am actually planning on using a pro top for the valve as it is a self piercing valve so you can pierce the CO2 cylinder without using the hammer

Yup these things are a blast to mod for sure. Here is one I did a decade plus back and modified again years later.

Original "Ratgun"

Discovery tube, BNM breech, 2260 barrel, carbon fiber shroud, 2240 gripframe and 2250 stock

I made an adapter and used the tube and stock from my MP15

FX stx barrel liner installed with shortened carbon fiber shroud

I was werqing on quieting it down a bit last I remember that was over a year ago looks like I should get back to it? I have way to many projects going on and it is easily get sidetracked with things like Impacts, SK-19s and HW44s.
