Crosman 2240 hunting?

Any one here hunt with 2240?

l hunted with one a few years back and had good success out o 15 yards, l did put a metal receiver + ten inch barrrel and red dot.

It shot crosman premiers from Wally World very accurate and it loved jsb's too.

I hunted rabbit and rats at my cussins ranch, also took some pigeons and starlings.

I don't hunt with one but have a 14 inch barrel on mine and am running 17+ fpe with the14.3 JSB on 1400psi and air so it is ready to do so when I am. On Co2 I was running 13fpe+ so these pistols are capable of good power and accuracy as well.

I dont hunt very much but do have a couple 2240"s. Don't see why you couldn't hunt with them other than ambient temperature. More that accurate enough, and if it's feral pigeon (squab) the breast portion is delicious. I think rabbit might be getting a little on the big size.
