Hey guys this picture sucks 

but I was trying to show that the front sight is canted to the right really bad. I think the barrel was machined wrong but was hoping some wise old airgun guru would have a simple fix. This is how it came from the factory and the transfer port is installed correctly. Its just not worth it to me to pay shipping. Id rather just buy a new barrel. Is there another way? I thought about hitting the barrel with a torch and then forcing the sight on straight then dumping in ice water. Thanks guys.

How is the front sight held on?

second, as long as you have plenty of adjustment in your rear sight. It’s not really big issue. Although I do understand it very unappealing to the eye.

You can tap the front sight off and see if the barrel is machined incorrectly or not. Sorry to say I have seen them machined like that before I don't know how they can get off the production line without anyone noticing.

As in the video above, tap the front sight out. And file a tiny grove inside the front sight. It will let you rotate the sight as you want.

The barrel is machined improperly. Im going to try jungles idea and then glue it with e6000. I always just check because often i work hard on a fix and someone on here says. "why didn't you just do it this way" work smart not hard my pappy always says.

Order a cheap muzzle break from crosman. They have a sight post on them. And are held in place with a set screw underneath.DON'T glue anything, Way to permanent and the breaks look great. you can check them out in the crosman custom shop pages

What I've done in the past was Dremel the indexing flat inside the sight to as near round as I could get it and then just use a plastic mallet to tap it into place where it needs to be.

With the tight fit you won't need any glue.
