I am not good at shooting pistols! I own a pristine Crosman 157 that I sent to MAC1 airguns and had resealed but it just doesn’t get used. Well I now have a use for it as it works great for scaring pigeons out of silos and the .177 pellets don’t damage anything. I went to one of my permissions tonight and I don’t see any activity at all, so I pulled out the 157 and dings the silo and out flies 7 pigeons. I then proceeded to drop two with my .30 impact mk2. Sure glad it didn’t sell when I put it out at my daughters garage sale this spring.

Nice 157, but don't underestimate it. On a hot day it can put out over 500 FPS, so is no toy.

For decades I've used the .22 caliber version Model 150 for small-game hunting (including jackrabbit) with excellent success. I dropped a pigeon at 25-30 yards with a clean upper-chest shot, and this cottontail fell to an offhand brain shot at 35 yards.
