Recently the fully modified Crosman 1377 model, 2289G or 1389 has caught my eye. I like that its easily stuffed in a back pack so I can make the trek into the woods without drawing attention. I also like the fact that its easily usable for people with less than super human strength (my NPS TR77 is 38lbs cocking effort and is the shortest model I own)
So I am fairly certain the 2289G will be a 22 cal, so I think thats out of the question as my preferred cal is 177. I guess my questions are
1. What are the differences between a 1377 and 1389?
2. Do I have to buy a 1377 and build it myself or can they be purchased already built? ( I dont mind the work, just wondering if it can be cheaper this way)
3. What are your opinions on these models?
Things that are important to me. Accuracy at 20-25 yards, small game capable, extremely quiet (LDC?) , lightweight, reliable.
