Crosman 1100 Trapmaster repair

I have a Crosman 1100 trapmaster I am trying to repair but need some help

I have been following a guide for disssembly and am stuck on trying to move the valve tube assembly from the compression tube.

aside from checking the seals, which I think might be fine, the issue is since this is where the compression tube screws onto the receiver, it is out of line enough that it is starting to mess with the threads of the screws.

Does anyone have an idea on how to get it a tad forward/push it out somehow?

I ordered more screws incase but I am hoping I wont have to. I have some thread cleaners and a die set so I can clean them up, but hoping to actually correct this. Its a bit snug inside the compression tube where the co2 canisters go.

Any help would be appreciated, Im a tad desperate to fix a pretty rare airgun

Update 3: she works! Followed some old posts that followed the teachings of tom gaylord.

Using either pellet gun oil (repackaged transmission fluid) or just plain transmission fluid, along with some air gun oil (lucas blue/3in1 works too) on the inner piercing cap, she seals up until the last couple of shots.

Once I get some shells and a chronograph, Ill post how my venture goes!

Hoping for at least 17 fpe shotshell, or 40fpe with some .375 lead ball as Ive heard some manage to get

Doubt but we’ll see

Happy thanks giving all and after working on this gun, I can now take down this gun easily

I have 2 of the 1100's. Try a .380 ball if you can find them, they are a better fit. I love mine, but no time to play. I want to try some of th TSS heavy shot in #9 in them. I cut .36 wads for percussion pistols in thirds for wads too. Good luck with it.
Thanks for the wad advice! I recently was banned off ebay with no reasoning and now have lost the ability to buy wads and more shells. Luckily I had two orders of reloading kits coming in so thats about 16 shells Ill have for reloading.

I wish crosman or some company made air shotguns with the ability to reload ammo. This is a very useful design feature as now you have a airgun with limitless possibilities in terms of ammunition

I had a guy who was going to 3D print some test ones for me,but not sure what happened. I gave up on it. A 41 magnum case(sharpened from inside out) will work too. You may be able to order a punch from Amazon. At this point, I have almost 3/4 of the original box of the Crossman shells and another half box of fired ones. The original ones last a long time if you are careful. I also have some of the original plastic clay birds for them. Best of luck to you,it is a fun gun to play with. Note: .38 cal sort blowgun darts are worth checking out;);)

Hopefully I can get more shells, because seems ebay has blocked my bank so I cant figure out how to make more purchases

You must have been a vewy vewy bad wabbit
Unfortunately I tried to right a wrong and pay ebay (pay them for something I sold but couldn’t figure out how to set auto payments with when I was a teen) which seemed to just give them a reason to absolutely make sure to ban me.

Ridiculous, would rather just have all selling rights taken, I still wanna buy lol
