Crosman 101 ID's & Years?

There’s an article online about them. I can’t remember exactly where I found it though. They said that in any one year you might get a brass or a steel barrel. And then some years they would get low on parts and use parts from previous years. It’s hard to date them exactly. I have one that was made somewhere in the late 40s. The real early ones had a patent date of 1924.And they also had walnuts stocks. Then they went to what they called a Clickless Version which was a hard rubber Forearm. But they didn’t make them too long like that. Mine has a hardwood stock which I don’t know exactly what kind of wood it is because I heard once they went to hardwood it could’ve been several different types of hardwood. They are nice shooting guns but not real powerful. Although they were used for hunting back then.
