Would someone that has a CT 5 Series mind posting a picture of the turret with the cap removed? I already have a 2&3 Series and was wondering if the turret was upgraded on the 5 Series before I ordered one.

It’s the same as series 3, they are all made by Japan optic the difference is glass not turrets(can’t speak for series 2). However the series 5’s turrets cap has building zero stop and that’s the only difference

Thanks. I was hoping they might be stainless steel instead of the brass turrets on the 3 series. In that case I feel the 3 series would be a better overall value.

3 is a better deal, make that best deal period! 5 is a nice to have but not sure if it’s worth twice the price. If you need the 25x then sure but I would of bought the 3 series version that goes up to 25x if it was available.

That’s the 3 series I have and wish I bought another one before Midway sold out. I’m not overly crazy about the reticle they used on the other 3 series that’s still in stock. I’m hoping they will be slow to sell those and will further discount them like the recently did with the 5 series. I would be all over it if they came down to $399

Thanks. That’s not what I hoped to see, exactly like my 3 series. I’m glad I didn’t get one now. The turrets on my 3 series aren’t the greatest.

As long as they track true then feel is subjective when it comes to the clicking. I really like my element helix’s turrets which has Stainless steel internals and a lot of people on this forum bash the helix.
the CT scopes don’t have the feel some people like but holy smokes it has a lot of internal travel.

Thank yuo guys for mentioning this about the turrets. I was thinking of ordering one, but I probably won't now. After using the Athlon SS turrets with the VERY crisp clicks, I don't think I could go back to mushy turrets.

Mine aren’t mushy. The are just way to easy to turn. I wouldn’t have a complaint if they locked but they don’t. I’m afraid I will accidentally spin one just normally carrying the rifle around. I like to hunt and checking my turrets before a shot is not something I want to do when out in the field. It wouldn’t matter as much of I shot off a bench exclusively.
