Tuning Cricket pressure gauge removal tool.

I have a leak in my Cricket, pretty easy to disassemble, o rings ordered and in possession. leak is coming from the front of the tank near the gauge. Besides trying to make one of my own, I looked on ebay and non is available. any ideas? Cricket is one of my favorite PCP's

You could try Ernest first..he used to sell them a few years ago ... 2 choice try John Hagan. He used to make theto ..but I have tried to foud him lately with no success...I know because I was looking for the same thing 2 years ago with no success n one day I was in the yellow pages n a guy that used to be a cricket dealer was selling everything so I managed to find the gauge tool -- the regulator puller -- the degasing tool ..n the regulator tester.....

May I suggest the "utilitarian" way--take two kitchen forks (no plastic, disposable party forks please) and clamp them on opposite sides of the gauge, then use a vice grip to squeeze and lock the forks together (close to the fork bases and not the ends for a tighter grip) and use as a lever to unscrew the gauge. Easy-peasy.

Just make your own. I bought this 27mm impact socket at a garage sale for 50 cents. Might have been less. Took me about an hour with the grinder and file

borrowed the adapter from Shambozzi, He shipped it quick. successfully removed the pressure gauge and discovered the gauge 0-ring was hard brittle and cracked, replace and now holds air well. Shoot sooooo acuurate. love the cricket!, Thanks Shambozzi, will mail it back soon, just making sure everything is fixed per your recommendations.
