Cricket Gen2's

Anyone catch anything about the Kalibrgun Gen2's? I see R&L and Top Air Gun are both listing bull pups on their sites. Now made with a safety. R&L has a 2 pics, but no real info. Just wondering if there's anything else changed/upgrades performance-wise. Anyone got the scoop? Or did I miss it already?

Come on man those aren’t Gen2 those are the same damn rifles had me all excited

i say all the time, kalibrgun is the past. they cant make anything new. technology is super old.

all the manufacturers invent a lot of new things, anti double loading, safety, smoother reloading.

kalibr does same what they did in 2010.

The past maybe but still one of the best hunting airguns available!

Simplicity Is golden in my eyes over all this new crap with with all the bells and whistles and problems. Not bashing just not for me....

Well, that's why I asked. Looked the same to me and no info, so I thought I'd ask. It would be nice if they caught up with the rest of the world on simple mechanical changes. Mine still shoots lights out as it is, though.

I've got one on order to arrive next week. This will be interesting Charlie Frear ( Georgia Airguns LLC) is going to set up the gun for me. Promising superior performance accuracy and quiet operation. This gun will be compared to my Daystate Red Wolf. I expect it to be a different . I was tempted to buy another Daystate but wanted something different. Simplicity can certainly an advantage. I want this gun primarily for hunting so my demands are a little different for this then what I bought my Red Wolf for .

I have been waiting for Kalibrgun to come out with a recent updated version as well. If the mini was in 25 I would definitely grab one.

Like a lot of Airgun Manufacturers, Kalibrgun has "Anounced" new guns. Namely the Capybara was announced with much fanfare. I believe it is supposed to be a Semi Auto in .22 only for "NOW" Whenever NOW is. We are still waiting on the FX Dreamline, as far as I know no one has one yet.

I have spoken to Charlie, and he does not know any more than we know. I believe that perhaps some other calibers may be in the works, but that is just here say.

As for "Old" same as 2010 thing. Well, the Kalibrguns do it for me. I shoot my Mini Carbine almost exclusively. It is extremely accurate and it does everything I NEED in an airgun. Yes, some innovations are always welcome, but frankly, if I wanted a very complex gun, I would just get an Impact or an Red Wolf. These guns are simple, easy to work on, very accurate, and reliable. It's the reason the TX200 and the HW97 have remained unchanged for a while now.
