I got my “new” Cricket delivered by the brown truck today....oh happy day. First impression was that this is a heavy gun compared to my .22 Wildcat. I mounted a Hawke 6.5-20x42 scope with adjustable Sports Match rings and headed to the range after work for some sighting in. With the mounts at their lowest point, it was shooting about a foot low at 50yds. With a couple turns of the adjustment screw on the rear mount, I was on target. After locking down on the two set screws on each mount, four clicks to the left took care of the windage.

After a few practice shots to get accustomed to the trigger, I was able to accomplish a sub penny size group of 8 shots at 55yds. Failing light forced me to quit for the evening. Can’t wait to test it at longer distances.

"jamdon"Tell me about your DonnyFL moderator. Are you happy with it and what kind of modification needed to fit one?
Any recommendation for a padded case for this rifle?
I have used both Sumo & Huggett, and Sumo is a winner for sure. Sumo is MUCH quieter than Huggett on my Cricket (also on Wildcat). Yes, you have to mod Cricket’s shroud if you want to use LDC ...

I have the syntheic Cricket bullpups in both 22 and 25. Both are outstanding in the accuracy department once one learns to control the trigger. I wish I had purchsed the full length versions which purportedly hhave a better trigger pull. My crickets have proven to be very consistent in terms of POI even after extended storage and , knock wood, they sem to hold air for several months when I am away for the winter. My ideal rifle would be the accuracy of the cricket with the trigger of the Steyr or Daystae Airwolf.
