Cricket .25 accuracy problems

Yes , speed is maybe too high, but in a video about the .Cricket .25 I saw Steve shooting JSB 25gr at 950 Ft/s , with good results .

The problem must be elsewhere else ; anyway I'm going to shoot at lower and higher speed to see what happens.

Speed in and of itself is not a "problem". Some rifles might like a bit lower or higher velocity than others, as you saw in the video you note.

Hi guys , I think I fixed the accuracy problem on my Cricket.25.

After havind reinstalled the barrel as Ernest Rowe did in his video , this is a first shooting test and , well I hope I found out the problem.

The pointed grub screw on top of the picatiny rail was too much torqued ; it's only purpose is to align the barrel in relation with the transfert hole.Too much torque has a tendency to press the barrel down before to be clamped. After that the barrel is secured by the two clamp pieces , and the screws must be tightened in a criss-cross way.I don't know if this was the point , but I shot 16 pellets and , apart the first three below from an non-zeroed scope and one flyer....I'm very happy with the result.

Anyway , I'm going to swap the Hawke Sidewinder for another scope , Aztec or Element with a dot center instead of a cross as in the Sidewinder ; I find the cross lines a bit too thick to aim very accuratelly , but this is my point of view.

Now i'll try different velocities , maybe with the JSB 34gr . I'm pretty sure the gun ( and also the shooter ) could do better .

Thank you all for your advices.
