Hey fellas, anyone shooting CPHP 22cal 14.3gr around 750-800fps and getting fair expansion on soft feather and fur animals without pass throughs with 35-40yds shots?
Or do CPHP still blow through?
Thx!

They don't seem to be the expansion type and only use them in guns that like them.
Breast bone or head shots for feather and head (Brain) shots for fur works.
Yea but you lose. You went back to edit it.
BTW- HA HA HA
Thanks for the replies fellas!
I didn't realize the CPHP or CPD were a harder lead than JSB, learning something new everyday.
Deal alert, Gander Mt is selling .177 7.9 and .22 cal for less than $5.00 for tin of 500. I bought 15 tins today. Spend $100.00 and free shipping. These are Crosman hollowpoints

hell yeah!!! I also got 100 dollar worth to “save” on shipping! Now I have over 10000 rounds in .177 and .22........I need more invasive birds in my yard!!!
To OP they won expand at all because they are harder but I rarely see JSB expand either. They hollowpoint does seem to do more damage and tumble more but regardless they will kill critters if shots are placed well enough.
