Was a beautiful morning. Only got two, but that’s plenty for lunch. Going to cook them up with some of the oyster mushrooms I found a couple weeks back. Both shot at distances of 30-35 yards. JSB 10.3’s at 10.49 fpe. Walther LGV Master pro.

Nice job. I just started using a shooting stick that I've made from an old LLBean treking pole and took my first squirrel using it this afternoon. Only 20 yards but I've been shooting very accurately with it to 50 yards. Big difference beyond 25 yards than all off hand I was doing before. Only 3 days left here for squirrel season.

@intenseaty recipes are for people that know how to cook! Here’s one:

Remove squirrel pieces from instant pot.
Remove meat from bone
Put meat on tortilla chips. Add cheese
Microwave for 1 minute

Season to taste. Pairs well with a nice ale or IPA. 👍

I also add the meat to pasta sauce and various soups. Cream of mushroom and canned vegetable soup are always good.

Limb Chicken omelette with farm fresh eggs is on deck.. haha
