Could I remove shroud and add Iron Sights to a hatsan flash QE?

weird question i know, but the Flash QE shroud didnt seem to help much for sound to me it was really loud so I bought a donnyfl Sumo and that made the report nearly silent, i just hear the hammer/pellet landing now but now my flash is very long, looks just like a sniper rifle and is also kinda front heavy maybe cuz it's the new wood stock Flash QE which is a lil heavier and since the QE shroud is useless for me could I remove the shroud and attach my sumo straight onto the barrel and add aftermarket sights onto the barrel? ive always been a fan of iron sights and if i take the scope off id save even more weight which is a big plus as im not a very strong guy.

I know the Sumo will fit onto the barrel since PumaCarl did the same mode to a Hatsan Vectis here https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/hatsan-vectis-info/, Im just not sure if the barrel will be secure or if there will be any unforseen issues but it seems to me it should work by reading Puma's thread and looking at the Flash diagram https://hatsanairgunsusa.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/Flash_exploded_view.pdf

Yeah it will work just fine with out the shroud, I did this with my bull pup to make it quieter without adding length to the gun. Also took away the wandering poi with different fill pressures. I did a red dot to make it lighter than a scope, but iron sights would be nice too. Not sure if you would gain much over a red dot weight wise plus you would probably need to forfeit the magazine to see your sights.
