Corvid "No-Fly" Zone

Morning coffee with AGN interrupted by raucous calls from a crow, obviously in violation of my Corvid "No-Fly" zone. Grabbed Wildcat Sniper .30 and flipped West Hunter caps heading out back door. Slipped into the woods to a makeshift blind. Crow calls, in my opinion, were either to bring others to the feast, or to warn others away from newly claimed hunting grounds. Songbird nests abound, under "No-Fly" zone protection, and the many hatchlings must have seemed like a real bonanza. Unable to locate due to thick foliage and on the far side of a large pine tree, crow was only spotted, after flurry of black feathers, on taking flight. Amazingly, crow circled slowly over blind, then returned to same tree, offering a textbook 35 yard broadside. Raucous calls re-started, in earnest, a JSB 44.75 grain ending the broadcast. Sleep well, little hatchlings, you're safe another day. WM
