My Swaging press and die are on the way!!! Can’t wait I placed my order 8 months ago now its finally coming. I spoke to Dave over that time and he’s true to his word as far the time it would take with all the supply chain issues. So I got a .22 cal die HP Dish tail as all my guns are in that cal so now I’m not so dependent on the market I still shoot pellets but Red wolf, Maverick and SK19 spit slugs very well. It’s gonna be fun

Did you get the s press? I plan to get more dies for mine to make my own 25s and 45s in addition to the 22s I make now. I love it. I recommend getting lead wire from elsewhere though. Crown metals for example is cheaper. Here is their phone number:

These are a big investment that will take many tins of slugs to pay for itself but you are also buying self dependence and convenience, and some degree of adjustability in the slug size and weight. Spend $200 on lead and you can make thousands and thousands of slugs, and tailor their length and weight to your needs. Total game changer for shooting my hubens. In material cost I think it makes a tin of 150 40 grain slugs cost effectively $4.15 or so plus my time. They're pretty fast to use once you get the hang

Well it arrived today have mount it up even with out being mounted I swaged a couple of slugs. This this is very smooth will provide years of slugs well worth 1355.00 price tag and yes Asher I got lube and got one of Daves cutters. I’m not worried about cost so much as independence and the joy of doing things on my own. I’m semi retired now but when I close my business up for good this things gonna get tons of use. I can tell once setup it will be a smooth operation. Between my son and grandson as he gets bigger we are gonna be going through some slugs Ive been getting NSA slugs and I got the same die they use so I already know they perform well in my guns.

You can buy the same die that NSA uses from Corbin because that's where NSA buys them. NSA started out using hand presses and dies from Corbin and then upgraded to automated presses as their business grew. http://www.corbins.com/

Heavy impact is correct. With the Corbin press you can also get dies for your powder bullets and is also compatible with the RCBS reloading dies as well. None of this press is made from cast parts it is all quality steel machined in house and it shows.
